Global India Getaways (GIG) is a travel and holiday solutions company offering Holiday Entitlement Plans (HEP) and other travel-related services designed to help customers plan and enjoy holidays over a defined period.
What is a Holiday Entitlement Plan (HEP)?
A HEP provides eligible customers with a defined holiday accommodation entitlement during the validity period of their selected plan, subject to the applicable plan terms, payment eligibility, availability and booking conditions
How many nights can I enjoy under a HEP?
The standard HEP entitlement is up to 7 nights per HEP year, unless a different entitlement is specifically mentioned in your selected plan.

Can I carry forward unused holiday nights?
Yes, for eligible HEP plans, unused entitlement may be carried forward subject to the accumulation limits specified in your HEP Terms & Conditions.
Can I use future year's holiday entitlement in advance?
Advance use may be available for 3-year and longer HEP plans, subject to the applicable HEP Terms & Conditions and eligibility requirements.

What is a Test & Try Plan?
Any HEP with a validity of less than 3 years is classified as a Test & Try Plan, irrespective of the number of nights included.

When can I take my first holiday?
Your holiday eligibility depends on your selected payment plan.
For example, depending on the applicable plan, holiday eligibility may begin after completion of a specified number of EMIs or after the applicable waiting period for full payment.
The exact milestone applicable to you will be mentioned in your HEP Application and Holiday Eligibility & Payment Terms.

Can I pay my EMIs in advance?
Yes. You may pay future EMIs in advance.
Once the payment is received and reconciled by GIG, it may be counted towards the applicable holiday eligibility milestone, provided there are no overdue payments and all other conditions are satisfied

What happens if my EMI is overdue?
Holiday eligibility may be placed on hold while applicable EMIs, ASF or other dues remain outstanding.
Holiday eligibility can be restored after the overdue amount has been fully paid and reconciled, subject to the other applicable eligibility conditions.

How far in advance should I request a holiday?
Recommended booking notice depends on your HEP plan.
For example:
3-Year HEP: Domestic – 60 days; International – 90 days
5-Year HEP and above: Domestic – 30 days; International – 45 days

Can I book during festivals or peak season?
Peak and festival-season bookings may be subject to special conditions, additional charges or availability restrictions.

What is the Christmas/New Year blackout period?
The standard blackout period is 20 December to 5 January, inclusive.

Can I choose any hotel?
You may request your preferred destination and accommodation.
However, all bookings are subject to availability. A specific hotel, room category or property is confirmed only when it appears in your official booking confirmation

What happens if my preferred hotel is unavailable?
If the requested accommodation is unavailable, GIG may offer an alternative accommodation based on availability and the applicable plan conditions.
Are meals included with my HEP?
Meal benefits depend on the meal plan selected with your HEP.
Where a meal plan is included but cannot be provided at the confirmed accommodation, applicable reimbursement or adjustment may be provided according to your HEP Terms & Conditions

What is the Annual Service Fee (ASF)?
The Annual Service Fee is an applicable annual service charge associated with maintaining and servicing your HEP.
The applicable ASF amount and payment conditions are specified in your HEP documents.

What is a Complimentary Holiday?
A Complimentary Holiday may be provided as part of a joining or promotional offer.
Its eligibility and usage conditions are separate from your regular HEP holiday entitlement and depend on the specific offer provided at the time of enrolment

The Free-Look Period allows eligible customers to cancel their HEP within the applicable period.

How are eligible refunds processed?
Where a refund is applicable, it is ordinarily processed through the original payment method or another mutually accepted method.
GIG will ordinarily process an eligible refund within 45 days after receiving and verifying a valid refund request, subject to payment reconciliation and resolution of any payment dispute or chargeback.
Where necessary, an eligible refund may be processed in multiple instalments without reducing the total eligible refund amount.

Transfer may be permitted subject to GIG's applicable procedure, documentation, approval and any applicable charges.

Yes. Your eligible family members or accompanying guests may stay subject to the occupancy limits of your HEP and the confirmed hotel.

International destinations are available under applicable HEP plans according to their destination coverage.

Certain premium international destinations may attract a Premium International Destination Supplement under applicable HEP plans.

Do I own a hotel or property through my HEP?
No. A HEP provides holiday accommodation entitlement and does not provide ownership of any hotel, resort, property or real estate.
How do I make a holiday booking?
You can contact GIG through the official booking/customer-support channels and submit your preferred destination, travel dates and other required details.

No. A booking request is not a confirmation.
